China Launches 1st Moon Orbiter

Oct 24, 2007 - Xichang, Sichuan, China - Chinas first moon journey was scheduled to begin moving away from an initial orbit around the Earth on October 31 and complete its manoeuvre into a lunar orbit on November 5.
